School Council

We have a School Council that meets each half term. The Council is made up of two representatives from each class from Year 1 up and the Headteacher. An agenda is set which can include a range of issues, such as teaching and learning, the school’s Christian distinctiveness, playtime rules and the appointment of new staff. Representatives lead class discussions and then issues that arise are brought to the School Council meetings. The Council helps to develop the school community encouraging the children to become partners in their own education and make a positive contribution to the school ethos and environment.
