CLASS GOVERNOR
My name is Charlotte, and I have three daughters attending St Paul’s. I am delighted to be the class governor for Owls! I am passionate about education, equality and the environment. I work at a university in London. I volunteer as a governor because I want to support the school to be a wonderful, nurturing environment for our pupils, and a great place for our staff to work. I love spending time with my family, listening to music, and going to the theatre. My favourite drink is a nice strong cup of tea.
We are so excited for the year ahead!
In their final year at St Paul’s, our Year 6 pupils develop into students we can proudly send to their next level of learning. The curriculum is enriched by class trips, a residential, a Mini-Enterprise challenge and the legendary Summer production.
The children develop their sense of responsibility throughout the year, taking on a variety of duties to help the school run smoothly, including Class Monitors, standing for House Captains, playing an important part in the School Council and running clubs for the younger children.
By the time Year 6 have led their Leaver’s Graduation, they are prepared and ready as learners and young people to move onto their new schools.

Year 6's Residential 2024-2025
Day at 1 at Cuffley
We had a smooth journey to Cuffley and were excited to settle into our dorms, make our beds, and unpack. After a few fun games in the meadow to stretch our legs, we enjoyed our first lunch together. The afternoon began with a brilliant construction challenge, where both teams successfully built bridges to cross the stream. Later, we pushed ourselves on the Gladiator course, facing our fears with courage and determination. Now we’re enjoying some well-earned downtime before heading to the Pizza Palace for dinner—of course, we couldn’t resist singing the pizza song from our production, which feels perfectly fitting!

Day 2 at Cuffley
After a good night’s sleep following yesterday’s adventures, we started the day with a delicious cooked breakfast in the Woodland Kitchen. Our morning began with a problem-solving challenge, where we worked in teams to tackle a range of tricky puzzles using logic and teamwork. Next, we took on a blindfolded obstacle course, which really tested our communication and trust in each other. After lunch, half the group soared through the trees on the zipline while the others battled it out in a fun game of archery tag. We're now enjoying some chill-out time before dinner and are looking forward to this evening’s creative challenge—designing the ultimate egg protector!

Day 3 at Cuffley
Day 3 at Cuffley was a fantastic end to an unforgettable trip. After a great night’s sleep following our busy second day, we tucked into a delicious cooked breakfast in the refectory. We then split into our groups for exciting activities—archery tag and the zip wire! Everyone should be incredibly proud of themselves for stepping out of their comfort zones and giving it their all throughout the week. There was just enough time for some fun games before lunch and heading home. The coach journey back is very quiet… full of happy but exhausted children!
