School Uniform

Our aim is to have a uniform which is both smart and practical and which encourages children to take a pride in their school and their own appearance. All children are asked to wear the uniform and adhere to the dress code in order to eliminate competitive fashion crazes.

Please remember that all items need to be named.  Here is a link to Label Planet who are suppliers of Stick In Labels (no sewing required!!!!).  School Reference Number: 21535 for the school to gain 30% commission on all sales.

Basic Stationary Kit:
required by all pupils and needs to be restocked regularly

A pencil
A handwriting or fountain pen (Y3 - Y6)
A Ruler
A Rubber
A Pencil Sharpener
A Pritt Stick

Children need a book bag to keep their reading book and words in (these can be purchased from the school office).

Lost property will be retained for half a term and then disposed of.

PE kit should be in school every day and taken home for washing on Friday. Please check regularly to ensure that children have not outgrown their kit.

Jewellery is not permitted in school as it can be harmful to other children and frequently gets lost causing the child unnecessary distress. Children with pierced ears may wear plain studs but these must be removed before PE, games or swimming and children are responsible for looking after them themselves.

Whilst watches are permitted we recommend that children do not have expensive watches as they are all too frequently lost or damaged.

Second Hand Uniform

If anyone needs any items in between the Second Hand Uniform sales then please speak to Liz Walmsley and she will be happy to help.  If you leave your number at the school office we can pass it on to Liz.
