St Paul’s nursery class is situated in a self-contained building close to the main school. It has a wide range of facilities both inside and out including a large nursery garden. In October 2015 the outside Nursery area was re-designed with a trim trail, Mud Kitchen, Story Telling Chair and art activities.
The aims of the nursery are:
•Your child is safe and happy!
•Your child makes a gentle transition from home to the nursery.
•We work in partnership with you to create the best learning environment for your child.
•We encourage home learning by sending home activities relating to nursery topics which could be completed at home.
•We provide a broad and balanced curriculum through the ‘Early Years Foundations Stage Curriculum’. The learning environment includes provision both indoors and out.
•Children are encouraged to learn through play and first hand experience. Learning is fun!
•Learning is tailored to the individual through close observation and monitoring by all the staff. Topics and activities are planned around the interest and needs of each child.
We have been accredited with the Bucks Quality Assurance Award
