Year 6 performed brilliantly at the royal Albert hall on 29th March! They joined 40 other Buckinghamshire schools to sing to a packed audience. What a fabulous experience for all with great memories made!
Nursery and Reception enjoyed their Holi celebrations!
Led by the Chiltern Music Academy, the school learned the song 'There's A Power in the Music' during Music Week in February 2022. The video can be seen in Gallery under the Children tab.
Year 1 were given a guided tour of St Paul's Church by Vicar Paul Cudby. They loved the stained glass windows and had a go at making their own when they returned to school.
St Paul’s marked the National Day of Reflection on 23rd March with respect for those who have suffered and hope for a brighter future.
Reception had a Circle Time to discuss the reason for the day and made a spring flowers display.
Year 1 read and discussed “While We Can't Hug” by Eion Mclaughlin.
Year 2 made a daffodil window display.
Year 3 looked at some flower art by artists like Georgia O’ Keefe.
Year 4 planted seeds as a symbol of hope.
Year 5 watched 'The Great Realisation' by Tomos Roberts and made a paper Garden of Reflection and Hope with daffodils (representing hope) and forget me nots (representing those lost). The children wrote what they hoped for/messages to those who lost someone inside the flowers.
Year 6 made papercraft daffodils.
