At St Paul's we have resilience role models to help us develop our own resilience skills as learners. We use them to learn from stories of others who've faced down adversity and come out stronger on the other side can help us to understand the abilities, qualities, behaviours, and character that we must bring to bounce back from challenges. Resilience role models teach us how to be more effective and inspire us to persist, bounce back and strive to be better. It helps to bring more perspective to the ‘celebrity image’, showing the struggle, overcoming of adversity, resilience, learning from mistakes, persistence etc therefore helping children to understand the struggle behind success.
