Welcome to our Governors’ section.
Members of the Governing Body at St Paul's are responsible for formulating the vision and the aims of the school. Whilst the day to day management of the school is delegated to the headteacher, the governors monitor the school's performance and ensure the implementation of national and local policies. They are responsible for monitoring the school's finances. Minutes from the Governing Body meetings are posted in the School lobby.
The constitution of the Governing Body is:

2 x Parent Governors
1 x Co-opted Governor (reserved for a member of Staff)
8 x Foundation Governors (2 above all other Governor categories)

The governors meet half-termly and visit the school regularly. They also attend functions and events and represent the school at educational conferences and forums.
