In their final year at St Paul’s, our Year 6 pupils develop into students we can proudly send to their next level of learning. The curriculum is enriched by class trips, a week-long residential under canvas, a Mini-Enterprise challenge and the legendary Summer production.
The children develop their sense of responsibility throughout the year, taking on a variety of duties to help the school run smoothly, including Class Monitors, standing for House Captains, playing an important part in the School Council and running clubs for the younger children.
By the time Y6 have led their Leaver’s Service, they are prepared and ready as learners and young people to move onto their new schools.
It’s been a great start to the trip for Year 6. They’re having so much fun and laughing lots. They’ve been practising their first aid skills and all eaten very well. They are now sat round the camp fire looking forward to the evening ahead.
More photos will be posted on our return.
Year 6 have spent the day making shelters, building fires & learning some new skills. Again, they have all had fun, laughed lots & eaten very well. Just about to start making their own pizzas to cook in the wood-fire pizza oven.
This morning Year 6 took part in a Bushcraft challenge where both tribes competed against each other in a series of tasks. They had a lovely morning and we are now on our way home…
